Description de poste

  • Lead project development activities, including scope definition, preconstruction planning, and creating control estimates for successful project delivery.
  • Provide preconstruction services by developing preliminary budgets, cost plans, and identifying opportunities for value engineering.
  • Evaluate general expenses and assist in determining margins and fees.
  • Supervise the preparation of detailed quantity takeoff estimates, identifying both risks and opportunities.
  • Gather and analyze information from subcontractors and suppliers, addressing their requirements.
  • Support contract negotiations and award processes.
  • Assist in project planning and scheduling efforts to ensure smooth execution.

  • Over 8 years of estimating experience with a proven track record of preparing detailed cost estimates and preliminary budgets, emphasizing value engineering.
  • Strong analytical skills to accurately evaluate general expenses, margins, and fees.
  • Experience in conducting thorough quantity takeoff estimates while identifying potential risks and opportunities.
  • Exceptional communication skills for gathering information from subcontractors and suppliers, and negotiating contracts effectively.
  • A team-oriented approach with the ability to support project planning and scheduling.
  • Proficient in relevant estimating software and tools.
