They are currently seeking a Site Superintendent in Aurora.Job DescriptionIn this role, you will oversee all aspects of construction management on-site, ensuring successful project execution in collaboration with the Project Manager, Subcontractors, Owner, Engineers, and Architects.Key Responsibilities:Provide overall construction management, including coordination of design, budget, and schedule, working closely with the Project Manager, Subcontractors, Owner, Engineers, and Architects.Ensure all on-site work is compliant with project drawings, specifications, and safety regulations.Plan and manage site schedules, determine manpower levels, and ensure the proper availability of materials, equipment, and trades.Proactively identify potential issues, such as work interference, schedule challenges, or safety concerns, and collaborate with the Project Manager and senior management to resolve these issues.Supervise the work activities of direct reports, ensuring administrative documentation is completed in collaboration with relevant departments.Oversee site logistics, including the layout of trailers, access, storage, erosion and sediment controls, and waste management.Collaborate with the Construction Sciences department to identify and resolve technical challenges related to the project structure and envelope.Manage the setup of the site office, including temporary power, water, and heating installations.MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, age, disability, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class otherwise protected under applicable human rights legislation.
